Why We Like The KingCamp Single Self Inflating Wide Sleeping Pad

We like letting the Deluxe Series Air Pad self-inflate while we set up the rest of camp. This light sleeping pad provides a boost in foamy cushioning that's sure to keep us snoozing all night long. We also appreciate the dual valves increasing inflation and deflation to quicken setup and take-down so we can get to the fun parts of camping faster.

Agreed I have only used it for about 5 hours. It was very comfortable and did not seem to loose any air. When I put it away I rolled it up carefully after (reading reviews) used my knees to hold and arms to squish ahead and went slow rolling up. Rolled up smaller than what the company sent and went into the bag very easily. If you are hiking I would have to agree this is probably to heavy to carry. Fortunately I SUV camping these days, as I am a old guy now at 65. I would buy it again and/or recomend to a friend. Continued... I have used it on a trip for two nights it worked great no problems, very comfortable.

This is actually comfortable!

I like this better than an air mattress because of the thick foam. Honestly, even if it did leak a little air, it would still be comfortable, because of how thick the foam is... definitely not the case with a regular air mattress! I have the deluxe single wide because it's almost 30" wide and I tend to move around a lot in my sleep, which I can do without rolling off the mat. It takes about 5 minutes to inflate itself with both valves open, and you can always blow into the valves too. (If it's been rolled up and stored away for a while, it will take a little longer for the foam inside to fully regain it's shape.) I just open one of the valves the next day to let in a little more air, because ANY type of air mattress WILL leak a little air after being slept on, I do not consider that a defect. I like this because you don't need an air pump to fill it. And it's pretty easy to deflate. You just open both of the air valves, and starting at the bottom (like a tube of toothpaste) roll it up, then CLOSE the air valves, unroll it, and roll it up again. When you have rolled it all the way to the top for the second time, just open 1 of the air valves to let out more air. I usually close the valves again and roll it a 3rd time. The whole process literally takes 1 minute, and it easily fits back in the bag, with room to spare.

Long term update: Sleep like a camp king!

I have used this Deluz-wide (old blue) 3-4 times per year for the past 3 years. Always a great night sleep! Im 5'10 210lbs and its very comfortable. I sleep on back, sides and belly and never "bottom out" or have any discomfort. Temperature is very comfortable in summer and winter. Self inflation is great, but rolling back up takes using my body weight to get it rolled up nice and tight. Since I purchased mine - EVERYONE else I camp with has also gotten one too.
