KingCamp Khan Palace Glamping Tent

Just put the tent up yesterday. Top quality material. It’s a bit heavy, but that = quality. thick fabric, poles, stakes, zippers.. etc. everything comes in waterproof bags. Looks amazing! Kids are so excited😀. Plan on keeping it up well into the fall.. perhaps longer if/when we pick up a stove.Also... customer service is exceptional!

We just got back from a weekend camping trip and I can’t stop thinking about how amazing this tent was! The KingCamp Khan Palace Glamping Tent totally changed the way we camp. First off, it’s super spacious — we had two adults and two kids inside, plus our gear, and still had room to stretch out and relax. The high ceiling makes it feel more like a cozy cabin than a tent. Setup was surprisingly easy for a tent this size. The materials feel durable and premium, and it held up well during a windy night. The ventilation is great too — the mesh windows kept it breezy and bug-free. I also love how it just looks beautiful in nature. We got so many compliments from fellow campers! If you’re into comfortable, stylish camping, this is the tent you want. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking to glamp in style. Will definitely be using this all season long!

My Wife and I love this tent, we got an air sofa and we use our laptop to watch movies and it is pretty much dry inside when it rains, and omg the wind; it holds up very well with 20 mph winds. But I think the winds were much stronger when that thunder storm rolled through! We are very happy with this purchase! We decided to get the 6.7 meter because we were unsure about how much room we would require; and let me tell ya, get the bigger/biggest one, if you got the space in your backyard for it, it's really nice; we're happy we went with the 6.7 meter size! We recommend getting the Bell Tent, it really stands up to the wind and rain, very well; oh when it gets hotter, just open some windows!

I've had my share of bad experiences with cheaper tents—flimsy poles, leaky seams, and zippers that break after just a few uses. After one particularly miserable trip where our bargain tent collapsed in the rain, I decided to invest in something better. I went with the KingCamp Palace, and it really lives up to its name.

The space inside is impressive. Four of us shared the tent comfortably, with plenty of room to stretch out, store our gear, and even move around without stepping on each other. It honestly felt more like a small cabin than a typical tent—perfect for group camping or family trips. The quality is far superior to the cheaper models I've tried, and KingCamp's customer service has been responsive and helpful. If you're tired of disposable tents and want something that actually enhances your camping experience, this is a great choice.

This tent is so well made i was taken aback, with so many shoddy products these days! You will definitely not be disappointed. Be ready for a heavy tent and heavy poles. It will stand up to almost anything im sure!! I made a mistake in my order and the customer service is outstanding. If you are looking for a good heavy tent, this is your place! It can be used as a guest house for camping or glamping!Totally satisfied!

We just returned from our fourth extended (7 to 13 days) beach camping trip with the Khan Palace tent. Historically, our camping trips have been shorter, but this tent has proven to be so comfortable and sturdy that The Wife and I have extended our trips' duration.

This tent is amazing! It easily withstands the sustained 25-45 mph winds of Padre Island National Seashore. The two biggest challenges for beach camping are the strong winds and the burning Sun. During the hottest part of the day, we napped inside and played games. There was never a feeling that the tent would blow away. The dumpsters full of destroyed Pop-up shelters and nylon tents at the Park's entrance demonstrate how many beach shelters fail the wind challenge. I've attached a picture of one of the two main support poles with my hand behind it. These are sturdy poles that don't flex and sway like fiberglass supports.

The Khan Palace is a BIG tent. We use it for car camping. At 86 lbs, it's not a tent you'll want to carry far! Despite the large size, it can be set up and taken down by one person. I set this up with 'organizational assistance' from the wife. The first time I set it up, it took about 90 minutes to read directions and erect the tent. Most of that time was spent figuring out where all the parts and pieces go. By the third and fourth times, I had this set up in about 15 minutes.

I began tent camping when I was 12 years old in the Boy Scouts. Over the years, I've spent time in what must be close to 100 tents of varying sizes and quality. This Kingcamp tent is a massive upgrade to any tenting experience I've had prior. This tent is truly a home away from home. Every detail appears to be carefully designed -- from velcro zipper jackets to keep out bugs to the sturdily mounted hooks for hanging lights, etc. Every part of the tent is top quality. The workmanship -- seams, zippers, grommets, etc.-- are all top-notch. The only thing I added is a set of longer stakes for use in the sand. The tent has two sets of stakes for varying terrains, but sand anchoring with the high winds requires longer stakes.

I've attached a few pictures to give an idea of the relative size. This tent really looks like a "Palace" on the deserted miles of beach at Padre Island. It's so big and so unique that we had vehicles drive by and stop to ask us about it. When people were invited in and looked around, they almost immediately commented about how nice it would be for their needs -- from "Fish Camp" to "Backyard Wedding Reception 'Place for the Guys." The tent is 9' 6" tall at the middle, so there isn't any claustrophobic feeling, even for this 6'6" guy.

This tent is everything a car camping tent should be. It might even change your mind about staying at a hotel when you can spend in it in this!

This tent is so beautiful and so practical. It has so much space and functionalities. It is very sturdy; the zippers, fabric.. we experienced a very heavy rainshower during a recent camping trip and there wasn't a single drop of water in the tent!! The tent doesnt get warm in the mornings because of the ventilarion built-in and the polycotton fabric. The big windows are a plus, you feel like you are outside because of it. This is especially nice during rainy days where you need to stay in. Also very nice and quick customer service!

I've been an experienced camper on the North Sea for almost 40 years and have survived many storms and even a few hurricanes unscathed. A well-designed tent is a prerequisite. I'm evaluating the KingCamp Kahn-Place based on a test setup in my backyard. Visually, it makes a terrific impression given its size. However, in windy conditions, it also has a very large sail area. There's a video with a rain test and a video with a wind test.

A huge tent suitable for all weather conditions. Very well made and easy to set up and take down. It's much easier with two people, but it would be possible even on your own. The inner tent is also very easy to put up.
We're thrilled with the first garden test, even though our first camping trip with a new tent is still around the corner.
A tent in this price range and with this quality is rare, so we definitely recommend it.

We subsequently purchased the groundsheet and awning (tarp) to keep the floor of the tent a bit cleaner and to have the option of sitting in front of the tent with a slightly more open but still protected area. The quality of both items is also worthy of 5 stars.

I originally brought this tent in September 2023. Took it camping and was in love with it. Best tent I’ve ever had and I’ve owned a plethora of tents before. Every aspect of this tent is outstanding and well worth the money. But here’s the real reason I’m writing this review. After about a week of camping I noticed some marks on the top of the tent that didn’t seem right. So I got in touch with customer service and their response to my concern was to send me a brand new tent! King Camp has the greatest customer service I have ever experienced and also the greatest tents!
