Summer just around the corner! Don't know about you, I am so ready to lock my laptop and iPads in the closet and start to enjoy unplug life with my family and friends, such as family vacations, beach outings, BBQs, and many other fun summer activities that we all love to do. When the summer finished, hope I can say "That was a great summer!"

If you are eagerly looking forward to getting out (funnily and safely) this summer with your family and friends, here we will share 6 ways that can help you unplug and fully enjoy this summer.

First, we need to learn to unplug from technology. Gradually shorten “screen time”, prolong the “outdoor time”. You can click here to get our 8 tips for how to keep away from online life, disconnect and relax, especially during vacation.

Now we have enough time to spend with family and friends. It's time to step outside your comfort zone and try something new! Read a new book, listen to a new song,  take a day trip to a new town, or try hiking, camping, cycling...try all the things you never had time to do.

Having a forest camping trip with family is certainly a rewarding experience, which can help you spend quality time to strengthen your relationship. Farewell to the noise of the city, enter real nature life, lie in a hammock, breathe a good ole’ breathe of fresh air, catch fireflies, stare at the glimmering stars until the break of dawn, sleep in a tent...all of them will make you relax. This summer, keep “screen time” to a minimum, and happily enjoy the outdoors and the nice weather.

In all the things you can enjoy in summer, one is most surely having a picnic in the park. Bring a picnic blanket, a basket full of snacks, like French bread, cheeses, hummus, olive tapenade, and fresh fruit, don't forget the wine or a special cocktail, and spend quality time with your family or friends. You can turn the park into your own little slice of paradise.

A road trip is a great way to enjoy the journey, explore new views, and even more fun, especially for a family, which can allow families to reconnect and truly experience a journey together. Kids will happy and remember all the details of the trip, such as the epic roadside attractions or the funny stories parents told in the car. The memories last even longer when the vacation is about the journey.

If you don't want the heat and sweaty feeling while doing summer outdoor activities, you can join in on water sports or activities, which not only can cool off, freshen up, but also can have a whole lot of fun. Kite surfing, flyboarding, yachting, snorkeling ...are all the perfect water sports for people who want to kick the adrenaline.

Enjoy living summer with your family and friends.
