I purchased the double cot to use while camping for myself and 2 snuggly golden retrievers. The design of the cot is not comfortable for my set up. The cot design has a ridgid bar down the center of the bed. This support does not hold the material in place, but allows the material to sag on one side or the other, depending on where the weight is. As a single person, I cannot lay in the center of the cot because of the ridgid bar. I did purchase a foam filled air mattress to use with the cot and at 3 inches deep, is not enough to compensate for the bar. I don't believe any mattress would. I would recommend this product for use by 2 persons of similar size to use at the same time. It is simple enough to set up and take down. The handle on the carry bag is too low and cannot be carried easily on the wheels.
**Update - After trying out for a few nights, I believe the problem may be the size of the mattress I am using with the cot. The mattress is slightly smaller than the cot dimensions and if a queen size mattress is used, and supported by the outside frame of the cot, then there shouldn't be any sag. I learned this when I pushed the mattress over to one side where it was supported by the mattress. Happy camping!

Excellent bed but I added a cushion on top for comfort
Holds up well with our air mattress on top. Between my husband and I, about 350 lbs. I wish the feet had felt instead of plastic bottoms for the floor in our tent and house. The only complaint I have is that it is rather hard to open by myself or anyone else alone. A locking hinge on the legs might help.
Got tired of an air mattress, even though this does have a bar in the middle. This is the way to go get you up off the ground and you don’t freeze in the winter if you don’t have a heater in the tent with you. Very comfortable we got an inflatable 2 or 3 inch air mattress off of Amazon to go with it the kind that are made out of the fabric material and a very lightweight. We laid that down on top of the cot and put a blanket on top of that and it felt very comfortable. It is very functional and takes less time to get up and get your bedding on it then an air mattress does and is very easy to set up.
