I am 6’2” , 255 pounds and this cot has another 6-8” on me vertically, and it fits my arms and elbows well laying flat on my back. The bed is very comfortable as well, hugging the body perfectly! With this being said, I am beyond happy with my purchase. The set up is a bit stiff the first time, after use the cot is easier to assemble. Amazing job!

Love the materials. Love the design. I like Kingcamp products. But this thing could not be assembled., Any tips? It took me and my son in law, working together, with every fiber of our strength to get the legs locked in. I’ve left it together about a week now hoping it stretches out and is manageable next use. Otherwise, I’ve wasted a lot of money. Sorry kingcamp, great idea but took over an hour and brute force to get it done.

I use this cot for when I travel on the motorcycle. It is a perfect size and a great addition to having a simple air pad. The only issue I have is that one of the supports cracked on my first trip. It still works over a year later as the crack was only small. This product is definitely something that I would recommend for anyone who wants something low to the ground for small tents or staying under a tarp.

Spencer Aircraft resold these for a few years in their pilot shop for a much higher price, this year they didn't list them on their website so I bought this before leaving for Airventure. This has the exact same aluminum and plastic structure, slightly different fabric sleeping surface and storage bag. It's the same level of comfort, and I expect it to last as long. We only use it once a year, for a week at a time, so unless something unusual happens I expect it to last several years. Great price, easy to setup/take down, very compact in its storage bag. much preferable to sleeping on foam pads or therm a rest pads. if you're over 250lb, use some kind of pad on top, you might bottom out the fabric on the support bars and get a minor bruise across your back. this isn't a flaw in design, just at the outer limit of usability. still more comfortable to sleep on than pads on the ground.

I took this to a disaster relief base camp... I was inside a building on a tile floor and not outside or on dirt... It was "easy" to set up but I did practice before I needed to use it for real... Intellectually, it is easy... Somebody posted a video: watch it... In reality I have pole that is dodgy and takes an inordinate amount of effort to engage and retract... It felt like I would break it... it didn't... I will probably buy back up poles...

Update on this cot... It's been just over a year of use... I would say I used it about 30 times in the last year... This includes having my kids use it for sleep overs... I've used it several times in below freezing temps... No issues... I would say if you take care not to abuse this, it will do as intended...
This cot was purchased because it fit the dimensions of my 4 person tent (3 person wither gear) and for my wife to use on an upcoming camp out... She likes some comfort and this cot is a way to get her to come out on trips with me and the kids... I used a lightly inflated Klymit air mattress on top of the cot when she used it... She was much much more comfortable than laying on the ground and slept well... Since then, I have used it on multiple car camping trips, backyard camp outs, and kid sleepovers... I've slept on the ground with everything from a foam pad to a 2...5 inch Neo Air when camping, so I know a bit about (dis)comfort when sleeping outside... This cot is really a nice comfort item... As before, I still put some kind of pad on top when I use it... It is really strong and supportive... I have had myself and my two kids on it, over 300 lbs, and no issues... I am careful to not put a lot of weight directly over any one leg... Rolling/getting on and off the cot has never been an issue... It feels very stable...
My last trip out was a weekend ago in temperatures down to 27 degrees... I used my Neo Air on top of the cot at those temps... Again, I was comfortable and the cot didn't care about the cold at all...
I am 6 feet long, 195 lbs and I can fit just fine... My head doesn't feel like it hangs over or slopes down...I am a little cautious with the cot feet... I have had no issues with them, but I feel if something is to fail, it will be the feet... The poles are beefy aluminum, not like a tent pole... My tent floor has had no issues with the feet... I put the cot down directly on the tent floor and have had no trouble... I wouldn't use this backpacking, but it's been coming with on all my car camping trips...

I just used this on a motorcycle camping trip... This cot with a sleeping pad was great... Slept well and the pad did not move since I was using the strap that was designed into the cot... Easy to assemble and disassemble... I would recommend that you set the cot up once before you take a trip... Also make sure that it will fit in your tent... I used it in a one man tent and it was a little tight... This cot is super compact and is great for motorcycle camping...

I have not yet slept on this cot, but I did completely set it up and laid on it... Set up was extremely easy once I found some how to videos on You Tube... The instructions that came with the cot were not too useful... Some reviewers have commented how hard it is to set this up and that is because they are not doing it right... I highly recommend watching an online video... The quality of the materials and construction of this cot seem to be very high... It was very comfortable in the short time I laid on it in my living room... I look forward to testing it on my next wildfire...

Was reluctant to spend the money for a camping cot... Been sleeping on an compact air mattress during my weeklong bicycle ride across Iowa... (RAGBRAI) However, did purchase this item... Ended up being the most comfortable sleeping item ever... Set up and break down was faster and easier then the air mattress once I got the knack... Watch a u tube video... Did that 3 times and figured it out... Will be using it 7 nights a year so it should last...

Life savers in a week long stay in a hotel which had NO ROLLAWAY beds...

My husband is 6'0 tall and weighs 251lbs... Fit on it comfortably... It stayed up the way it is supposed to...

Very compact and light weight to fit into your carryon or checked luggage...

My 7yr...old son and 3yr...old daughter slept on each send and were able to fit comfortably the entire week... It was like a mini camp out for the both of them in the hotel...

Low-profile and about as comfortable as a cot gets... Can't beat the tiny package! This, combined with one of those pack-small sleeping bags, fits in a small duffle -- perfect for my son when we take trips... It does take some muscle to put the support bars in, and it's not intuitive from the instructions (hence the docked star)... I second other reviewers who suggest looking for video instructions...

I took this on a 3 week camping trip and have never been more comfortable... It's a bit of a pain to assemble, but packs down very small and is really light... It's just as wide as a sleeping bag... I like to stretch out, so I brought an extra blanket to pad the side where my leg hangs over... It keeps me off the ground (warmer) and is fine for side sleeping... My hips are very happy... I use a thin camp pad as an extra layer of comfort...

I bought this cot for a 16 day Grand Canyon river trip... It did not disappoint... After setting it up a couple of times & getting the hang of putting it together, set up was quick & easy... I LOVE how compact & lightweight it is... Other people on the trip had cots that were huge & cumbersome by comparison... I didn't need to use a sleeping pad on top, just my sleeping bag, & it was super comfy... The only potential issue I wondered about was that heavier people might bottom out... I'm 5'1 & 115 lbs, & when I sat on it, depending on the terrain, would sometimes touch the ground underneath... When I laid down, that didn't happen... A friend of mine who's 6'1 slept on it one night & was surprised at how comfy it was & that it was plenty long enough for their height... All in all, I love this cot & am happy I got it! An unexpected added advantage was being able to set it up in uneven or rocky terrain, which made for more options of places to sleep...

I'm 6'0 and 186 lbs have been using this one straight up six months sleeping on it because of my work I have to be constantly moving on, of course it's showing some signs of wear and tear especially on the corners where the tubes are placed because of all the weight stretching it but aside from that still doing fine don't know if you can get a replacement if so it will be awesome, considering the time I've been using it it's very well paid off...
I used this one in combination with the thermarest xtherm and the kingcamp sleeping mat on top to damp the noise of the inflatable mattress...
It's a expensive setup but so far it's the best sleeping system I've tried

Used on two camping trips and as a temp bed for overflow at the house, close to two weeks total for the nights it has been used... Others have complained about stretching, I have yet to see it happen... No it isn't as comfortable as a standard mattress, but it's a cot - and with a sleeping mat and sleeping bag I was pretty comfortable... If I give my house bed a 10, this is a 7, and is so much better than being on the ground... Easy setup and tear down, my 10 year old can do everything but lock the first foot, the other three he turns the cot on its side and uses his body weight to lock them in place... Great function for the cost...

This cot is comfortable but be mindful of the weight limitations if you want to buy it... I weigh around 180 lbs (81...6 Kilograms)... It doesn't feel sturdy so I am gentle with it... I would be afraid to sit quickly or fall on it... It is lightweight aluminum...

There is a distinct two-class system for cots: ultralights and ultra-heavys... This item is easily in the ultralight camp, so is suitable for camping without breaking your back or taking up a ton of packing room... Seriously, in general cots jump from sub-five pounders to well over 25 lbs... But does this lightweight hold up? Surprisingly well! it is low to the ground and easy setup with four sets of "feet" which hold the side tubes apart... All structural tubes have elastic cord to hold the pieces together, but break down to fit into a very compact package... The foot braces have a release mechanism for snapping into place and removal... Warning: the snapping into place takes some hand/arm strength and tightens the cot to very high tension... During my first setup, I was worried that this tension would make the cot too stiff or rip the fabric, but the outcome is actually quite comfortable and it doesn't wobble like many larger cots I've tried... This is the only cot I have found with the elastic straps for securing an extra mat (e...g... thermarest), which I think would contribute to even more comfort and thermal protection... Finally, I am 6'0" and the length is great for me - no hanging-off feet!!! I don't know why the blue cot was offered for almost $40 off the other colors, but if you can get this model cot (in any color) for less than $100, it is very much worth the money...

P...S... While the postings show several adults standing on the cot to demonstrate its strength, my cot did not survive my idiot 9-yo son who wanted to use it as a trampoline with a friend... This product is NOT A TRAMPOLINE...

This is a great cot... It's a little long for what we need, but it fits in our REI Halfdome 3 tent with about an inch to spare on either end... It takes a good bit of pressure to get the feet to lock in place and equal amounts of pressure to get the feet to release when you're trying to take it down... This is a little difficult for some young people, but it is a good cot...

It is very comfortable, it is also very sturdy, but you feel like you're going break the "locking" foot when you're assembling and disassembling it, because of the amount of force needed to get it to lock and unlock...

Don't know why I waited so long to purchase... I do a lot of kayak camping and most sites are either rocky or sand... Neither are comfortable for sleeping bit this cot is a game changer... Slept like a baby... The straps secured my sleeping pad and kept it from sliding off the cot...

The bag it comes in is sturdy and fits well with enough space to get it packed in without excessive struggle... Was able to set it up inside my 2 person zion tent...

Slight learning curve on set up, but once I got the hang of it I could do it with my eyes closed... This cot is really the perfect solution for 90% of camping applications that I can think of... Car camping, motorcycle camping, and its level of comfort and sturdiness was such that I even took it backpacking once, but that is when it revealed its shortcomings to me, mainly it was heavier than I should haven taken, no duh right? but I would totally but this sucker again and again, I love it...
