Comfy & easy to set up

I bought this cot for a 16 day Grand Canyon river trip... It did not disappoint... After setting it up a couple of times & getting the hang of putting it together, set up was quick & easy... I LOVE how compact & lightweight it is... Other people on the trip had cots that were huge & cumbersome by comparison... I didn't need to use a sleeping pad on top, just my sleeping bag, & it was super comfy... The only potential issue I wondered about was that heavier people might bottom out... I'm 5'1 & 115 lbs, & when I sat on it, depending on the terrain, would sometimes touch the ground underneath... When I laid down, that didn't happen... A friend of mine who's 6'1 slept on it one night & was surprised at how comfy it was & that it was plenty long enough for their height... All in all, I love this cot & am happy I got it! An unexpected added advantage was being able to set it up in uneven or rocky terrain, which made for more options of places to sleep...

Good cot

My only concern with it is it’s not insulated so I woke up cold even with a zero degree bag.

Hi Joseph, Thank you for sharing your experience with the KingCamp cot. We're sorry to hear that you woke up feeling cold despite using a zero-degree sleeping bag. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we appreciate you bringing this concern to our attention.

While the KingCamp cot is designed to provide comfort and support during outdoor adventures, we understand that insulation is crucial, especially in colder conditions. We'll take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve our products to better meet the needs of our customers.
Thank you again for your feedback.

AMAZING

This cot is AMAZING! The bag is the same size as the bag for my camp chair... I used this on a multi-day kayak trip where every oz was important... Comfortable as any cot I've used and I weight 250lbs... Put it inside my tent and didn't have to worry about the feet ripping through... I even convinced one of the other guys on the trip to buy one after(your welcome)... I will probably buy another one of these in the future if I can convince my wife to go tent camping...

Great cot for the money

Needed a lightweight and compact cot for motorcycle camping... These look well made and big enough for me... I am 5'8" and weigh about 165 ibs... I did not hear any of the creaking that some reviews stated... I have not use them yet but looking forward to using them in my upcoming trip... Easy to put together and easy to take apart...

Recommended for your camping experience...

I purchased this for my son to use at Boy Scout camp and my Husband is using it right now on a camping trip... My son liked using it and my husband is loving it... Easy to pack but for my son it took more strength... My hubby said all the guys on the camping trip were asking where to get one... It's low to the ground but still provides comfort... And looks great too... Not flimsy...

Very comfortable/a bit of a pain to assemble

I took this on a 3 week camping trip and have never been more comfortable... It's a bit of a pain to assemble, but packs down very small and is really light... It's just as wide as a sleeping bag... I like to stretch out, so I brought an extra blanket to pad the side where my leg hangs over... It keeps me off the ground (warmer) and is fine for side sleeping... My hips are very happy... I use a thin camp pad as an extra layer of comfort...

very comfortable and light weight!

I bought both the cot and air mattress thinking I'd use both, but the cot was so comfortable that that's all I used the whole time... I was very impressed by how light it was, too... Getting it set up and taken down requires a bit of time the first time you use it, but it's worth every minute! Great gear!

Quality worth the price

By far the best cot I have slept on... We purchased these last minute for a 2 week camping trip and were not disappointed... I am amazed by the comfort and durability of the cots, especially for being so compact... Once you figure out how to set them up (instructions included) they are incredibly easy to put together and take apart... (took less time than rolling up a sleeping bag) My boyfriend is over 200 lbs, and found his just as comfortable and supportive as I did...

Perfect for under one man tent

Bought this for and used it underneath a one man Lite Fighter tent... Without extension legs installed, permits securing tent to ground with cot under... Cot is extremely comfortable compared to military style cot... Even with sleeping on my side, I did not feel the need for a foam pad or inflatable pad, the cot is more than comfortable...

Great cot to fit in a small tent

Easy to set up and take down... Fits in my Marmot Tungston-2p tent with a couple inches to spare at the head and foot... I'm 6'2'' and can fit on it just barely which is perfectly fine... Only issue i had with it was the material of the cot and my sleeping bag are very slippery so any sort of incline/decline you will slide... Adjusted by using my air pad to separate the slick surfaces, which doubled the comfort level... So all in all, it's pretty great...

Motorcycle camping...

I just used this on a motorcycle camping trip... This cot with a sleeping pad was great... Slept well and the pad did not move since I was using the strap that was designed into the cot... Easy to assemble and disassemble... I would recommend that you set the cot up once before you take a trip... Also make sure that it will fit in your tent... I used it in a one man tent and it was a little tight... This cot is super compact and is great for motorcycle camping...

A staple for camping

So far, I've loved this cot... It's portable, easy to assemble, and it's comfortable... The low profile bag is awesome for backpacking, and will likely even fit in your tent bag, depending on type... There are a lot of these on the market, and I'm glad I chose this one...

Very compact and light weight to fit into your carryon or checked luggage...

Life savers in a week long stay in a hotel which had NO ROLLAWAY beds...
My husband is 6'0 tall and weighs 251lbs... Fit on it comfortably... It stayed up the way it is supposed to...
Very compact and light weight to fit into your carryon or checked luggage...
My 7yr...old son and 3yr...old daughter slept on each send and were able to fit comfortably the entire week... It was like a mini camp out for the both of them in the hotel...
If you do not have it you must get it

just under 5 pounds, but invaluable comfort while backpacking...

Easy to assemble, and sturdy... I decided I'd trade off the weight (just under 5 pounds) for the comfort I gain backpacking... I rocked around on it, and never got it collapse, which was a complaint from some other brands... I'm very pleased with it...

Ended up being the most comfortable sleeping item ever

Was reluctant to spend the money for a camping cot... Been sleeping on an compact air mattress during my weeklong bicycle ride across Iowa... (RAGBRAI) However, did purchase this item... Ended up being the most comfortable sleeping item ever... Set up and break down was faster and easier then the air mattress once I got the knack... Watch a u tube video... Did that 3 times and figured it out... Will be using it 7 nights a year so it should last...

beats sleeping on the ground

Lightweight enough to pack and take if hike/camping is not too far... Would add some weight to a long hike but when able to take it is very comfortable to keep you just off the cold or uneven ground no more sleeping on a stick or rock that was hidden when setting up the tent and discovered when lay down on pad
appreciate the straps to keep air pad from slipping off the cot
A little getting used to setting up but once using a few times it became easy especially if you have a table (picnic) etc to use
