I love the looks of this tent. It's very roomie it fits our family of 5. I believe I had a defective item though because the pole keeps popping off. Maybe mine just had a design flaw. I gave it 5 stars because I never have problems with this company's products. I bought few products from king kamp before. To me they have good quality. I reached out to the customer service and they fixed the issues I had. Their customer service is great and very helpful. I would definitely keep buying from this company.

I bought this tent for our outdoor trips and I absolutely loved it. It's spacious, comfortable, and made of durable materials. I really like that it includes a space for a stove, which is ideal for camping in colder climates. It's easy to set up and is perfect for spending time outdoors with friends or family.

I really like my tent for the money. Architecturally the tent is great, but there are a couple of engineering issues.

1. The side windows, without a top zipper allow wind to blow inside. A zipper design like the ceiling/roof would greatly improve the design.
2. The side windows sag. There should be middle short-poles on the sides in the middle of the windows with metal thingees like on the corners, front & back.
3. The tent roof sags. A ridge pole would help dramatically!
4. It would be helpful to be able to purchase extra parts, like tent bags & poles.

I think the extra items for a few dollars more would really be worth it.

For the price especially this tent rocks and we just used it for the first time and loving it!

Seems well made, lightweight and durable, which is what I imagine a camper needs! I'm planning on using it for the garden in the summers , and creating some magic in their for my daughter to play in. It's easy to put up - maybe about 10-15mins or so, and it seems great for lots of uses. It's light as well so you can easily carry it - probably great if you're a hiker / camper!

At 2.6kg, this isn't too bad for the weight of a tent for 2 people and especially if it can be shared between you.

I just love the simplicity of this tent and I'm sure my neighbours thought I was made trying the tent out earlier today but it really was simple and straight forward.

Not had a chance to test in the rain yet, but being England, I shouldn't have to wait long

A nice touch I really liked was the step by step guide is pictorially attached to the carry bag, so there is no excuse for not getting it up quickly and easily, it then folds up easily and fits back in the carry bag without needing the normal excessive force

I'm thinking this would be ideal for taking in the car rather than back packing, but that's just me and looking forward to escaping for a weekend to further test this out

Das Ultraleicht Camping Zelt MONDOME II für 2 Personen hat uns auf unserer letzten Campingreise wirklich überzeugt. Das Zelt ist super leicht und einfach aufzubauen, ideal für Backpacker und Wanderer. Trotz des geringen Gewichts bietet es ausreichend Platz für zwei Personen und das Material ist hochwertig verarbeitet. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Zelt bei starkem Wind etwas instabil wirkt, aber für normale Wetterbedingungen ist es absolut zuverlässig. Insgesamt also ein tolles Zelt, das uns auf unserer Reise gute Dienste geleistet hat.

Ich habe das KingCamp Camping Zelt für einen längeren Outdoor-Trip getestet und insgesamt eine sehr gute Erfahrung gemacht.

Hier sind meine Eindrücke:

Positives:
- Geräumig: Das Zelt bietet genügend Platz für 4-5 Personen, ohne dass es zu eng wird. Mit 8 m² ist es ideal für eine Familie oder eine kleine Gruppe.
- Wasserdicht: Das Zelt hat den Regen problemlos abgehalten. Die PU3000mm Beschichtung hat sich in einem Starkregen als zuverlässig erwiesen, sodass wir trocken geblieben sind.
- Stabilität: Auch bei leichtem Wind stand das Zelt stabil. Die Konstruktion und das Oxford-Gewebe sorgen dafür, dass es robust genug für verschiedene Wetterbedingungen ist.
- Gute Belüftung: Besonders bei warmen Nächten war die Belüftung gut und es hat sich kein unangenehmes Kondenswasser gebildet.

Verbesserungspotential:
- Boden: Der Boden könnte stabiler sein, vor allem an den Stellen, an denen man oft ein- und aussteigt. Etwas dickeren, verstärkten Boden hätten wir uns gewünscht.
- Aufbau: Der Aufbau ist nicht allzu schwierig, aber es hat etwas länger gedauert, als wir erwartet hatten. Zwei Personen sind definitiv hilfreich. Eine detailliertere Anleitung wäre von Vorteil.
- Platz für Gepäck: Es gibt genügend Platz für Personen, aber für Ausrüstung und Gepäck könnte der Stauraum etwas größer sein.

Fazit:
Ein tolles Zelt für den Familienurlaub, Festivals oder Glamping-Ausflüge. Es bietet viel Platz, ist wasserdicht und stabil, allerdings könnte der Boden noch etwas robuster und der Aufbau etwas einfacher sein. Trotzdem insgesamt eine sehr gute Wahl für Outdoor-Aktivitäten!

Great for a small family just looking to go out and see nature or to set up in one's backyard. I have done both with this tent and it has worked great in both rain and windy conditions. Very sturdy and the materials are durable. A bit of weight to it if you plan to carry this a distance and would recommend a second person to help setup. Setup is easily done with the provided instructions, which I did not use. Can be setup completely in 15 to 30 minutes with 2 people. Fit 5 adults comfortably with room. We were able to store our cooking supplies under the awning which came in handy during the rain. Get out and explore....

Good for a small family, it has worked good in both rain and windy conditions. Seems sturdy and the materials are durable. Definitely a good bit weight to it if you plan to carry this a distance and I would say you definitely need a second person to help setup. Setup is easily done, setup took me about 15 minutes with 2 people. Fit 4 adults comfortably with room. Used the awning porch area for a setting area to stay out of the rain, I love that aspect of the tent!

Roomy. High ceilings allow you stand up easily. It’s reasonably well made. Is easy enough to assemble if you understand tents. It’s a great compromise tent if you don’t want to deal with the weight of a canvas tent, and don’t want to deal with the limitations of a hub style pop up tent. Think you could expect a few seasons of regular use out of this. Heavy users or regular campers might want something more robust.

Nice big tent, we like the extra space when camping with a family. Not easy to put up but I've never met a tent that was. Decent quality, folds up small but heavy.

Will be perfect to fit 2 people and our 2 large dogs. Plus I really liked the covered area out front to allow for rug space and to be able to wipe off feet before getting into the tent. Haven't been able to use yet since it is now Winter, but am looking forward to camping this Spring!

This is like the military tents my dad used in in the army. It’s heavy made of a canvas material like carhartt feeling material. It’s a 4 season tent so you can use it from
Summer to winter with no issues. It has a place for a hot stove which is cool.

Once you have it setup it’s big enough for like 4 cots. It’s literally like a military tent from the looks and feel of it. Idk if it’s as strong but I’ll edit this post if something should happen.

Setup wasn’t that hard it’s pretty straightforward. I always watch YouTube videos before doing the setups to make sure I have everything figured out. All and all this is a nice heavy duty tent that the whole family can stay

I've really liked the products I've tried from KingCamp and this one is no exception. It's a great just everyday basic camping tent. It's an instant style tent, which is so easy to use. I can't express how much I prefer the newer instant style tents > older pole style tents. I had this tent up in literally 10 seconds before staking down the sides. It's about 9' x 9' square. Perfect for 2-3 people. I love the versatility of the tent. It was raining almost the entire trip I took this out to try it out. It held up amazingly. I had zero water inside the tent. The rainfly part is so easy to put on with the clips. The zippers worked smoothly. The vents were nice to keep a little bit of airflow. I really don't have any complaints about this tent. It's perfect for a couple or a small family. I'd absolutely recommend it!

This tent seems sturdy and well made so far. I like the ability to use a tent stove with it, although I haven't tried that part out just yet. It is a big, heavy tent. Just so there's no confusion, this isn't the tent you want to carry a far distance. I'm excited to have a tent that will hopefully be more comfortable in colder weather! I'll update if problems arise.

I got this tent to replace an aging instant pop up tent from Core. This one is made similarly to the one in the big box store but it has some cool features I haven't seen before.

The rain fly extends a tad beyond the footprint of the tent, leaving a small vestibule for shoes/gear - that's awsome.

The setup is very, very fast. With two people, it really could be done in less than a minute. The whole thing is like a big umbrella.

A somewhat unique feature that makes it more than just a camping tent is the double opening making it into a good sun shelter for beach use.

I do worry about how much wind it can withstand. I think you absolutely need to stake it and use the rainfly to kind of solidify the structural integrity. It's a three season tent, but not in high winds.

The whole thing is plenty light for car camping. You could use it for short backpack trips if you're in a group and can offset some gear to another person, but it wouldn't be my first choice for backpacking. The quick mechanisms just add too much bulk and weight to make it the first pick.

The material seems at least as durable as anything you could find at Walmart or Big5. Maybe a bit below the Nordstrom's of outdoor gear level.

Overall, a cool tent that makes your life easier and competes well with high end brands.

Bought this tent back in April, 2025 based on a friend’s recommendation. Didn’t get to set up until this past weekend. One of the end arches is fused together instead of springing into place as it should. It’s actually bent into the other piece. So not very secure structurally as it may snap with a high wind.
I’m outside the Amazon return date but for the price I hope the company will do the right thing and replace the end piece. Otherwise, will not be using as a 3 season tent
Updated 7/20/2025: I contacted the company directly and they quickly responded to my concerns. I sent in pictures and information and although it took some time the defective pole was replaced. I am happy to recommend King Camp because they stand behind the products they sell. One thing I suggest is taking a picture of the box information as that was the one thing they requested that I did not have. But KingCamp still did the right thing. I would buy from them again. Linda
