Award-Winning Design | 7075 Aviation Aluminum | 4.9 lbs Ultralight

Elevate your sleep—literally. Winner of the prestigious ADI Compasso d'Oro Award, this cot reimagines portable comfort. By using high-tension aviation aluminum and a unique push-and-pull mechanism, KingCamp has created a bed that is as sturdy as a traditional cot but small enough to fit inside a hiking pack. Say goodbye to sleeping on cold, uneven ground and experience the future of backcountry rest.

Key Features:

1. Quick and Easy Setup

  • Push-Pull Quick-Open and Quick-Fold Bracket Structure: This innovative design allows for labor-saving and time-saving assembly and disassembly, making it extremely user-friendly.

2. Award-Winning 7075 Aviation Frame

Recognized for its innovative design, the frame is constructed from 7075 aviation-grade aluminum alloy. This material offers the highest strength-to-weight ratio available, supporting up to 120 kg (265 lbs) while keeping the total weight under 5 lbs.

3. Compact "Half-Size" Packability

Traditional cots are long and awkward to carry. Our segmented, collapsible frame design reduces the packed volume by half compared to standard models. At just 36 cm (14 in) long when packed, it fits easily into panniers, backpacks, or small car trunks.

4. Integrated Sleep System

  • Pillow Sleeve: Don't pack an extra pillow. Slide your carry bag or a rolled-up jacket into the integrated sleeve for an instant, comfortable headrest.

  • Air Mattress Anchors: Features underside elastic straps designed to lock an air mattress in place. This prevents the "sliding mattress" syndrome, creating a firm, supportive, and insulated sleep system.

5. Cationic Ripstop Surface

The sleeping surface is made from 420D Cationic Ripstop Oxford cloth. This premium fabric is high-tensile, tear-resistant, and won't sag over time, ensuring your back stays supported throughout the night.

6. All-Terrain Stability

Equipped with oversized, non-slip "foot-pad" feet, this cot won't sink into soft soil or damage tent floors. The anodized finish on the frame ensures it remains corrosion-free, regardless of the humidity or weather.

Real deal

Ok I don't really write reviews but I have been so happy with this product. I hunt 3 states a year for the past 30+ years. I mostly pack in with my horses. Believe it or not weight is still a factor with horses because I am planning on coming out heavy. It is easy to set up after you initially first set it up. It is light, compact and easy to assemble and take back down. I now have 3 of these and highly recommend. Chris

Thank you, Chris, for taking the time to share your experience, especially since you don't usually write reviews—it means a lot to us! We're thrilled to hear that our product has served you well across your multi-state hunting trips, and it's great to know it fits perfectly into your pack-ins with horses. We're glad you find it lightweight, compact, and easy to set up, even in demanding conditions. The fact that you now own three of these speaks volumes! We truly appreciate your recommendation and wish you many more successful hunting trips. Thanks again for your support! 🙌

Works fine on a hard surface but the legs buckled

Works fine on a hard surface but the legs buckled on a packed sand surface. The legs dig in through the night and when they reach an angle past 90 degrees, the over center cam device fails. I do toss and turn a lot which caused the digging in process. Four out of five nights on a recent river trip were not good.

Hi Les, thank you for the detailed feedback — and we're sorry the cot didn't perform as expected on packed sand during your river trip. The leg sinking issue you described is a real challenge with soft or shifting ground surfaces, especially for active sleepers.

For future trips, we'd recommend pairing the cot with a groundsheet to distribute weight and prevent digging in. We'd also like to learn more about what happened with the cam device — could you reach out to us at support[at]kingcamp.com with your order? Our team would like to review this and see how we can help.

I wanted to like this. So much so that I bought 5 of them.

I bought these for a group trip in the backcountry. Sadly the participants struggled to set them up even after showing them multiple times. One of the legs broke on the first day and the guest had to sleep on a broken cot for a week. If it’s possible to buy replacement parts that would be helpful. A cot costing nearly $100 should break on day 1. Looking for other options.

Hi John,
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Ultralight Folding Camping Cot — we’re sorry to hear about the setup difficulties and the broken leg during your trip. That’s definitely not the experience we want for our customers.

Please reach out to our customer service team via support[at]kingcamp.com. We’ll arrange a free replacement for the damaged cot and provide you with a link to our installation video to make setup easier in the future.

We appreciate your feedback — it helps us improve our products and instructions so future trips go much more smoothly.

Best regards,
The KingCamp Team

It’s good but…

Good cot but it do wish that it came with a 5th spare leg on the off chance that one broke but other than that it is good.

Big upgrade to my camping experience!

I am a side sleeper and struggle to sleep on just a sleeping pad after a few nights because my hip and shoulder will be so sore. So I decided to upgrade to a cot but wanted something small and light because there is already so much to bring when you go camping. It took a little bit to figure out how to put it together and take it apart but I found is easy enough. It was super comfortable and so nice to be off the ground. Love how small it gets when you are packing it up. Great cot and highly recommend!

Careful

If you roll over a bit too much, the legs will collapse.

Pretty nice, easy set up

Bought these for kids when we visit relatives. Key is small and pretty easy set up. These are a keeper and they also are not super hard. Pretty comfy.

Nice for the price

Like the weight and size, I am around 200 lbs and used it a couple nights in a row camping. The legs snap into place well but take a lot of force to snap them into place and also to take it back apart. The only other issue i noticed is when it took it apart the poles on the sides were bent down a little in the very center (around where your waist would go). would be nice if they added another support for the center but good product for the price, however not sure about the durability over time.

I love the compact design and I highly recommend it.

I love this cot. I bought two for a Colorado trip and slept on it for a week with no problems. I weigh 245 pounds and the cot is rated at 265 if I remember correctly and I never had an issue with feeling the crossbars. I also used a camp mat on top for a bit more cushion. I love the compact design and I highly recommend it.

Highly recommended

Best fold up camp beds we've ever had, really comfy, we had self inflating sleeping mats on them, added a pillow and it was just like sleeping in our own bed.

Comfy & easy to set up

I bought this cot for a 16 day Grand Canyon river trip. It did not disappoint. After setting it up a couple of times & getting the hang of putting it together, set up was quick & easy. I LOVE how compact & lightweight it is. Other people on the trip had cots that were huge & cumbersome by comparison. I didn't need to use a sleeping pad on top, just my sleeping bag, & it was super comfy.

It is very well built

I'm a 160 lb. tent camper. I usually sleep on back and sometimes side. It works well for me. I think 215 lbs. might bottom out, but not sure. It doesn't have much ground clearance as you can imagine. For repeated use: I think it would have no problems. It is very well built.

Look out for misaligned fabric.

We have two. One works great but the second was sewn with the fabric at a slight angle from the edges. This results in the four support legs racking one way most of the time because it naturally wants to align with the fabric weave. Ultimately, the cot collapses. Cot #1 works great. We should have returned #2. So, if you get a cot and the weave isn’t perfectly aligned with the sides; exchange it. Otherwise, great product.

Great bit of kit

Its expensive but good. I go to a lot of festivals and this is a good buy. Light, small and reasonably comfortable (not fantastic). Better than lugging inflatable mattress etc. It feels well made.
Im 6 ft 1 inch and approx 13 stone and copes with me absolutely fine.
